Constantine Maroulis signs for TV sitcom

American Idol loser Constantine Maroulis has signed up to star in an ABC sitcom, People magazine reports.
The as yet unnamed show is being produced by Kelsey Grammer's company, Maroulis told People.
Maroulis, 30, who finished in sixth place last season, says Idol was the best thing that's ever happened to him and so was losing.

Constantine is great, but he just found a quick path to where he was already headed when he went on Idol. He knew that. His ex girlfriend was on One Life to Live, so he was already starting to get inside the industry.
